KRISTI-ISMS: LEADERHIP WISDOM IN ACTION
Kristi's reflections—affectionately known by her colleagues as “Kristi-isms”—offer practical wisdom on leadership, teamwork, and communication. Grounded in experience and a deep understanding of human connection, these insights serve as powerful reminders of what it takes to lead effectively and work well with others.

“Shoulds" are about judgements or unmet expectations.
Bad things happen to good people no matter how good you try to be. And good things happen to bad people. How you deal with adversity is the reflection of your character.
Don’t worry until there is something to worry about and then don’t worry. Act!
Regret is a useless emotion unless you apply it to the future in a lesson learned.
Someone’s behavior toward me is almost never about me.
Don't talk about work or think about work unless you are being paid for it. Enjoy the non-workspace. Leave work at work.
Internal candidates don’t realize it but when they apply for a job internally, they have been on an interview the whole time.
Don’t relive the stories when telling them again unless they are about happy events.
